Neon Hope sunglasses are in compliance with EC Directive 89/686/EEC concerning the regulations and the safety requirements established by the Europeon standard EN 1836:2005, USA FDA Reg. 21CFR 801.410, Standard of Reference EN ISO 12312-1 as well as the Austrailan Standard AS1067.1. The lenses in these sunglasses are impact resistant according to US FDA Reg. 21 CRF 801.410. 

 

Materials used:
Sunglass frame: Made from stainless steel.

Lenses: The lenses are made from robust nylon with UV400 protection, which wavelengths up to 400 nanometers, including both UVA and UVB rays. Scientific-jargon aside, all you need to know is that this means 99 to 100% of UV light is blocked, giving you best-in-class protection.

Chains: The 100cm long chain has a clasp at each end and is made from coated brass. Included are silicone rings to keep the chain in place.

Suggested Care Instructions:

Chains:
Do not spray any perfume or creams directly on the chains. Remove before washing hands or showering if worn as jewellery.

Leather bumbags and Cases:
We recommend spraying the bag with a leather protector prior to wearing. Make sure you try on a small test patch prior to spraying the entire item. The leather will naturally soften and crease when the product is worn. Place in dustbag when not in use. 
Be mindful that the dye from denim may transfer onto lighter leathers, take care when wearing. 

Sunglasses:
Place the sunglasses back in the leather case to avoid scratches on the lens. Use a microfibre cloth or lens cleaner to clean the clean the lens of the sunglasses.
